Spinach is one of the crops Giants added for Farming Simulator 25, and it behaves differently enough from the usual grains that it is worth planning around. It grows fast, it fits into the season calendar twice, and it needs a machine you probably do not own yet. Here is what we know about it so far, and what those numbers mean once you put them on a real field.
Two harvests in one season
The growth calendar carries over from the previous game, so planting dates matter again. Spinach fits into the year twice: once in spring, once over the summer.
Sow it in March and the crop is ready in June — roughly three months in the ground. Clear the field, work it again, and you can put a second crop in for a September harvest. That is the part worth noticing: most arable crops give you one shot per season, spinach gives you two on the same hectare.

Growth stages are visible as the crop develops, so you do not have to count days on the calendar. Walk the field, look at it, and harvest when it looks ready — the same habit that works for every other crop in the game.

What it costs to put in the ground
Seed rate is about 10 litres per hectare. That is light. For comparison, you will burn through far more seed on a cereal field of the same size, so the up-front cost of a spinach field is modest.

What it pays back
Yield lands at roughly 23,000 litres per hectare, and spinach sells for about $660 per 1,000 litres.
Run those two numbers together and a single hectare is worth somewhere around $15,000 gross per harvest — before fuel, wear and the cost of the machinery. With two harvests a year on the same ground, that is a serious return for a crop that only asks for 10 litres of seed.
Treat the figure as a planning number rather than a promise: selling price moves with demand at the sell points, and holding your crop for a better price is still the difference between a good year and an average one.

You need the right harvester
Spinach is not something you take off with a standard combine. The machine built for it is the OXBO MKB-4TR — a dedicated harvester designed around this crop.
Budget for it before you commit a field. If you are starting out and the OXBO is out of reach, plant something you can already harvest and come back to spinach once the machine is affordable. A ripe field you cannot cut is worth nothing.

Is it worth planting?
On the numbers, yes — with one condition. The crop is cheap to establish, quick to mature and fits twice into the season, which makes it one of the more efficient uses of a field. The catch is the specialist machine standing between you and the harvest.
If you already run a mixed farm and have the capital, spinach is an easy addition. If you are still building your first operation, it is a target to work towards rather than a starting crop.
