This mod brings the current Volkswagen Golf 8.5, the 2024-2026 model, into BeamNG.drive. The car comes in three configurations and is built around high-quality exterior and interior models, a detailed engine bay and engine, and PBR materials with baked textures covering the whole body, the interior and exterior trim and the lighting.
Under the skin the Jbeam has been heavily modified and the car is scaled to realistic dimensions, so it drives and deforms convincingly. Edited engine sounds, an animated dashboard and a functional navigation system make the cabin feel alive, while functional lighting, dynamic mirrors, opening parts and custom wheels round out the package.
If you enjoy modern everyday cars with a strong focus on visual detail, this Golf 8.5 is a great daily driver for cruising, photo sessions and crash testing alike.
