The 2019 Toyota 4Runner TRD Pro brings a modern off-road capable Toyota to BeamNG.drive. The 3D model is a port from Forza Horizon 5, paired with the mechanics and transmission of the Gavril Roamer and an adapted JBeam, with some parts borrowed from the Cherrier Tograc and Hirochi Sunburst to complete the construction.
There are 14 configurations, including Stock, an Off-Road build with front bumper, snorkel and tow hitch, a Race version with spoiler and sport parts, a 40th Anniversary edition, Bling and more. Custom textures and full lighting support are included, right down to interior buttons with a blinking hazard switch.
The cabin is fully functional, with working gauges showing gear and temperature on digital screens, a dashboard clock and a custom infotainment startup. Engine parts such as the fan and pulleys are animated, as are the pedals, steering wheel and turn signal lever, and the weight and engine values are set realistically.
Twelve colors are available, from Super White and Midnight Black to Barcelona Red, Cavalry Blue, Army Green and Lime Rush, so the 4Runner looks the part whether on the trail or on the street in version 0.38.x.
