The TLX 1982 Special is a Lizard Motors tribute to the heavy, tough and powerful pickups of the 1980s, brought to Farming Simulator 22 with a huge amount of customization. Pick a fully restored truck for 31,982 $ or a patina-inspired version at a reduced 19,820 $, and choose between the regular truck, an open chassis, a limited edition and a vintage preset.
If you skip the presets, the standard truck opens up a long list of options: five trim packages, classic side wood panels, a flat bonnet or hood scoop, five bumper combinations with a winch option through the Platinum DLC, bullhorn and sidesteps, visor or cab lights, color presets, metal finishes, interior colors, stock or wide mirrors, daylights, beacons and spotlights, four exhausts and more than 50 tire and rim combinations including off-road, mud and duals. Under the bonnet sits a 4.3L engine with 480 hp or a 5.7L with 795 hp, and the gooseneck, rear hitch and front plow mount stay hidden until they are used.
Three beds are included. The Old Flatbed (3,982 $) offers metal, diamond plate or beaten panel designs, extra spotlights, tension belts and a gooseneck. The Classic Stakebed (8,200 $) can be configured as a plain flatbed or in seven styles including forage transport, a tanker and livestock transport for every animal, chickens and horses included. The Service Bed (9,820 $) is a role-play attachment that carries fuel to refill your equipment, with optional decoration, a ladder rack and six liveries.
The beds also mount on the TLX 3500 Single Cab, the XL beds from the TLX 3500 fit the 1982, and the TLX 2020 snowplow attaches to the front. Later updates added Sheriff and Firefighter configurations, a Firefighter XL water attachment, pallet autoload for pickup beds and the stakebed, short or long pickup beds, Diesel, Gas and Old Gas engine sounds and running boards with markers for the crew cab.
