The Straw Harvest Pack expands Farming Simulator 22 with a complete pellet industry built around machinery from KRONE and Bressel und Lade. At its heart is the KRONE Premos 5000, the world’s first mobile pellet harvester: it picks straw or hay swaths straight off the field and turns them into pellets, or works stationary with the additional bale shredder. The pellets can be sold, used as animal bedding, fed to livestock, or processed further in the included industry hall.
For the straw harvest itself the pack includes the KRONE BiGPack 1290 HDP II and the KRONE Comprima V180XC. The BiGPack can be fitted with the KRONE BaleCollect, which drops stacks of up to three square bales at a time, while the Comprima offers variable round-bale sizes. A shop configuration optionally adds realistic consumables — bale yarn, netting and molasses — that you buy as pallets.
Bale handling is covered by grabs from Bressel und Lade and Lizard in several sizes for front loaders, telehandlers and wheel loaders; they hold the bales securely while moving and release them only when you want them to.
The industry hall can be set up three ways: as an empty hall for parking vehicles and storing bales and pallets, with a hall crane for moving bulk material, bales and pallets, or with an automatic palletizer that packs the Premos pellets onto pallets. Those pallets fetch a higher price at the pellet selling station that comes with the pack. Updates have also added snow and parallax occlusion maps to the placeables and smoothed out BaleCollect handling and hall performance.
