The first-generation Škoda Octavia, known as the 1U and built from 1996 to 2010, comes to BeamNG.drive in both pre-facelift and facelift form, as a sedan and as a Combi wagon.
Its 24 configurations cover everything from the 68 hp 1.9 SDI taxi and the basic 1.6 LX to the 180 hp vRS, 4×4 Elegance diesels, police cars, the RS WRC Edition 100 and a 300 hp all-wheel-drive 2003 WRC rally car.
The car has a detailed exterior, interior and engine bay, PBR materials, good damage, animated controls, working lights and mirrors, opening parts, custom wheels and skins. The latest update makes it ready for game version 0.39 with a new light system and DDS textures that use 65% less video memory.
