Reforma Baja is a large-scale map expansion project for American Truck Simulator that recreates the Baja California Peninsula in Mexico. This latest update extends the journey further south, bringing players to La Paz in Baja California Sur.
The expansion introduces new towns and landscapes such as Loreto, San Javier, and Ciudad Insurgentes, along with additional rural areas and new stretches of Federal Highway 1. Players can explore deserts, oases, mountains, and coastal scenery inspired by real locations across the peninsula.
Visual quality has been improved throughout, making use of the new transparent water system to create more realistic coastlines and bodies of water. Vegetation, terrain painting, and road surfaces have also been refined, alongside general performance optimizations.
This update is ideal for players who enjoy exploring authentic, detail-rich environments and want to experience a growing recreation of Mexico's Baja Peninsula within American Truck Simulator.
