This mod reworks the police and fine system in American Truck Simulator to feel more realistic and fair. Instead of fines scaling with player level, they now follow a logical progression based on speed and real-world reasoning.
It lowers the penalty for car crashes to a token amount, acknowledging that AI drivers are often at fault and that truck damage and insurance already cover much of the cost. The threshold for worn tire fines has also been raised, giving players more leeway before being penalized.
This mod suits players who want a more immersive and balanced simulation experience, where fines reflect realistic circumstances rather than arbitrary level-based penalties.
