This creation introduces two brand-new harvestable plants to The Sims 4: Papaya and Pomelo. Both fruits can be grown in the garden, harvested, and used in cooking or eaten raw, adding fresh variety to in-game farming and nutrition systems.
Each fruit comes with its own gameplay effects. Eating Papaya removes certain illness and stress buffs while slightly lowering weight, and it boosts skill gain in Gardening, Fitness, and Cooking. Pomelo can be eaten whole or sliced, granting Energized or Happy moodlets along with various skill multipliers and reduced hunger decay.
Both plants are compatible with toddlers and pets, allowing young Sims to interact with and eat the harvestables safely. They also work with selling systems from City Living and are supported in the Village Shoppe and Grocery order features from later updates.
This is a great addition for players who enjoy expanding their gardening and cooking options with new, lore-friendly crops that fit naturally into the base game without requiring any expansion packs.
