This tuning mod for The Sims 4 fixes an overlooked quirk in how spellcaster charge works for sims with the carefree or laid back trait. Normally these traits block tense moodlets, which also locks sims out of the charged buff almost instantly since they overcap into overcharge range within seconds.
With this mod installed, carefree or laid back spellcasters will have their charge automatically lowered from 200 to 120 whenever it would otherwise overcap. This keeps them comfortably within the charged range so they can actually benefit from charged magic instead of skipping straight past it.
Spellcasters without the carefree or laid back trait are untouched by this mod and will continue to function exactly as intended by the base game. If a sim is already above 200 charge when the mod is installed, players can use shift+click cheats to reset their charge need to 0, or simply let it build back up to trigger the new cap.
This mod is ideal for players who enjoy playing carefree or laid back spellcasters and want them to properly experience the charged magic state instead of being stuck in constant overcharge limbo.
