This mod corrects a long-standing issue with the Ford cars included in the Road Trip pack for American Truck Simulator. Previously, using the engine brake would unintentionally cause these cars to downshift, which affected driving realism.
With this fix applied, the engine brake no longer triggers automatic downshifting, and players can no longer alter its behavior using the increase or decrease keybinds. The engine brake indicator will still light up in the indicator widget when the keybind is pressed, keeping the visual feedback intact.
