Capsule 2021 is a capsule-style double-decker bus built for BeamNG.drive, offered in both left-hand-drive and right-hand-drive form. With 56 configurations it covers far more than a normal city bus: the Standard body is 14 m long, 2.52 m wide and 4.45 m high, the Low Roof version drops to 4.15 m to clear height restrictions, and the Panorama version is an open-top bus made for sightseeing tours.
The fun starts with the performance variants. The Drift configuration combines a finely tuned engine, a racing turbocharger, a modified steering ratio, single rear tires and a welded differential. Energy Flow is the racing version with quick-ratio steering and racing tires, and the Acceleration configuration adds a liquid-fueled JATO system that pushes the bus to a top speed of 710 km/h.
Everyday details are covered too: a color route display, digital gauges, interior lighting, and opening passenger doors, wheelchair ramps and an engine bay door that can be controlled from the keyboard or via triggers. Version 4.0.5 fixes UV mapping on some textures, makes the passenger doors detachable and improves ESC and TCS behaviour during high-speed cornering.
