BMW M60i for BeamNG.drive
The M60i is the V8 range-topper of BMW’s lineup, and this build leans into that luxury-performance identity in BeamNG.drive with an authentic V8 TwinPower Turbo engine sound, PBR materials, PBR-based headlights, and a genuinely functional cabin. It’s a big, heavy, premium vehicle that suits relaxed city runs, long highway cruises, and roleplay far more than tight racing. The mod includes two configurations—among them an M60i-style setup—plus custom wheel support for personal builds.
How it drives
The standout here is the trio of driving modes. Comfort settles it into easy cruising, Sport firms things up for quicker road driving, and Off-Road opens up rougher terrain and uneven map sections. Whichever you pick, the size and weight mean you plan ahead — early braking and smooth steering keep it composed through corners and at higher speeds, exactly as a vehicle this large should behave.
Interior and finish
The cabin is the highlight: a fully functional digital dashboard with a working speedometer, a central multimedia screen, animated pedals, and cabin indicators that all make cockpit driving worthwhile. A working navigator, mirrors, lighting equipment, and dynamic turn signals round it out, and the panoramic glass roof adds something to interior camera shots. The PBR materials and headlights react cleanly across day and night, and the solid JBeam keeps it honest during driving and simple crash testing.
Installing is simple: drop the .zip straight into your BeamNG.drive mods folder — don’t unzip it — and it appears in the in-game selector. New to mods? Our BeamNG. The drive installation guide walks through every step.
🔧 Our Test Notes
Hands-on notes from the CrashMods team
Hop out of a stock BeamNG car and into this M60i, and the scale hits you immediately—it's a big, heavy, premium thing, and it drives like one. The trio of modes gave us most of our fun: Comfort for lazy city loops, Sport when the road opened up, and Off-Road for the rougher, uneven sections where we didn't expect a vehicle this plush to cooperate. The cockpit view is where it earns its spot, though—the digital dash and speedometer actually work, the pedals animate, the turn signals are dynamic, and the panoramic roof makes interior shots worth taking. The V8 TwinPower sound plus PBR headlights hold up between day and night. Just don't bring it to tight racing: the mass wants early braking and smooth steering inputs, so give yourself a corner or two to recalibrate. Two configurations plus custom wheel support cover the builders. Tested on BeamNG 0.38.
