The BMW M5 E60/E61 is a comprehensive BeamNG.drive mod featuring an impressive 130 configurations across both sedan and station wagon body styles. It combines detailed exterior and interior models with a detailed engine bay, PBR materials, custom sounds, and extensive customization options.
The lighting and optics have been adapted for BeamNG.drive 0.39.x, including an updated lighting system and improved facelift-style angel eyes with customizable colors. The mod also features baked lighting and smooth light activation.
The interior offers numerous interactive elements, including an animated dashboard, pedals, and a turn signal stalk. Windows, sun visors, sunroofs, and seat adjustments can now be operated by holding the corresponding button. Functional radio and navigation systems, interior triggers, mirrors, and lighting add further depth to the driving experience.
The latest update adds one new configuration, a visual brake disc heating effect; Akrapovic exhaust pops and crackles; updated M-line colors; and revised door and trunk lighting logic. Several textures have also been updated, including the rear window defroster, broken windshield, and taillights.
The radio playlist has been updated, and the number of custom radio slots has been increased from 20 to 25. Category sorting has also been added to the vehicle selection menu for easier navigation through the large number of configurations.
