The BMW 1 Series E82 is a deeply detailed and realistic project for BeamNG.drive, developed over nearly six months and offering more than 55 realistic configurations. The range spans the 118d to 123d diesels, the 120i to 135i petrols and the 1M, with Base, M-Sport, Performance and various custom builds to pick from.
Under the hood you will find realistic diesel and petrol engines – N47, N43, N52, N55 and N54 – with authentic torque and power figures, matched by diesel, petrol and 1M instrument clusters. Customisation is extensive: diffusers, bumpers, side skirts, spoilers, interior trims, transmission settings and coding options can all be changed, and there are LCI and Pre-LCI headlights along with several taillight variants and BMW Style wheels.
The interior has working windows, navigation, armrest, folding seats and an opening sunroof, while the doors and hood open (the trunk needs to be attached manually). A realistic palette with Le Mans Blue, Montego Blue and over 20 real BMW colours completes the look. The mod is still in development and will keep receiving updates on BeamNG.drive 0.38.x.
