Auto Shorter Teens is a gameplay tuning tweak for The Sims 4 that finally solves an old problem: Teen Sims sharing the same height as Adults. Instead of requiring manual slider adjustments, this tool automatically shortens Teens across all occult types and returns them to normal height once they age up.
The override touches the Teen-specific CAS Modifier Tuning files for Human, Alien, Vampire, Witch and Mermaid Sims, adding a built-in short-height modifier. Fairies are included but only take the shorter height in their Human form, while Werewolf transformations remain unaffected since they lack separate Teen tuning. It also corrects an EA tuning error that had mistakenly classified Teen Spellcasters as Vampires.
Newly created or newly aged-up Teens are shortened automatically, but Sims who were already Teens before installing need a quick CAS trick — switching gender and switching back — to apply the new height. The creator notes it remains compatible with other height slider CC, so individual Sims can still be fine-tuned further.
This is ideal for players who want more realistic proportions between Teens and Adults without manually adjusting sliders every time a Sim ages, and who don't mind a small amount of expected clipping that comes with any height-altering tuning.
