This engine pack adds an 8.1 liter, 496 cubic inch V8 based on the GM Vortec 8100 built from 2001 to 2010. It shares its models and accessories with the 6.9L V8 that comes with the game, with some changes from vehicle to vehicle.
The engine fits every vehicle included with the game, and modded vehicles such as the Gavril Durham, the Wentward pack and anything on a supported platform can use it too, though those have no configurations of their own. Ready-made setups range from a supercharged Rock Racer and an MD70 school bus to a gasoline front end loader and a three-wheeled Pigeon wheelie machine.
It suits players who enjoy oversized engine swaps and do not mind some tuning. Supercharged setups can hold the redline before shifting, which gear ratio tuning, a sport or race ECU, or less throttle will fix. Some vehicles also have loosely attached parts such as exhaust models, and the Cherrier FCV has a few known quirks.
