Speed Island is a large custom map set on an island in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, built around a fast figure 8 circuit along with several other track types.
Besides the main figure 8 track, the map includes a rally course, a monster truck and derby arena, and a drag strip with its own start-light sequence. The island also features small towns, logistics areas and a city, complete with working traffic lights, crosswalks, and AI traffic that reacts to signals and signs.
Day and night lighting switches automatically, and a pit road with a refueling box lets you top up fuel by driving close to the pumps. A time trial mode is set up on the figure 8 track for lap-based challenges.
This map suits players who enjoy varied motorsport disciplines in one location, from drag racing to off-road rally and monster truck action, all set within a lively island environment.
