Longer Range for Road Trip Cars is a configuration add-on that lets players adjust the fuel range of Ford Road Trip cars in American Truck Simulator. It works directly through the in-game garage menu, offering several preset options for extended driving range.
Once installed, players can enable Realistic fuel consumption in the Gameplay settings, then access their car through My Cars in the garage. From there, selecting Configure and then Engine opens a choice between Stock settings or one of four range presets, each adjusting fuel use accordingly.
This mod is intended for players who own the Ford Car Pack and want more flexibility in how far their Road Trip cars can travel on a single tank. It's a practical option for those seeking longer road trips without frequent refueling stops.
Before disabling the mod, it's recommended to reset all modified cars back to the Stock range setting and save, ensuring compatibility is maintained.
